The eduworlds card uses NFT (non-fungible tokens) technology. NFT is a great and secure method of transferring access to our courses. Most importantly, with this technology you can completely legally resell the card on the market. Just like a used book on an marketplace.

Next, let's move on to the next step, which is the preparation stage for buying an eduworlds card.
How do I prepare to buy an eduworlds card?
To buy an eduworlds card (as well as any other NFT), you need to prepare two basic things:
- a wallet (i.e., the place where you store the funds to buy the NFT, and the NFT itself),
- the funds (cryptocurrency) with which you buy the NFT,

What wallet should you prepare to buy eduworlds NFT card?
A wallet is the key to your vault of digital NFTs. With time you will learn everything, but let's stay with this definition. We recommend the MetaMask wallet.
MetaMask installs in your browser, such as Chrome. It is mega secure, easy to use and of course free.
Only the owner of this computer, who knows his keys and passwords, you can use digital products data, such as NFT.
How to set up a wallet step by step?
Step 1: Go to the website: metamask.io.
Step 2: Then install the MetaMask plugin on your browser.
Step 3: MetaMask will guide you through the wallet creation process.
Start by clicking the 'Get Started' button.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Next, enter your password. You will use it to log into MetaMask in your browser. Be sure to save the password in a safe place.
And now pay attention!
Ahead of you is the most important step to keep your wallet secure.
You will see the so-called SEED PHRASE. This is a list of 12 words.
These words in the given order are used, for example, to recover your password, or to recover your wallet when you lose the device on which it was installed by default.
Therefore, be sure to write down the entire seed phrase in a safe place, such as in a notebook.
IMPORTANT: Remember: never, ever give a seed phrase to anyone. It's just like giving out the password and pin to your bank account.
Hint: watch the video prepared by MetaMask. It explains exactly what a seed phrase is.
When you move on, click to view the words:
Save them. In the next step, MetaMask will ask you to enter a seed phrase. This verifies that the list is saved by you. Put the words in the right order (by clicking on them one by one) and move on.
Congratulations! The wallet is properly configured at this point.
You can find it in the Chrome plugins. After clicking on the wallet, it looks like this:
Here you will see, among other things, the current balance of the created account. In the next step, we will explain how to fund the account with cryptocurrency to be able to buy eduworlds.
Important!
If you are new to the world of NFT, always use 1 wallet and 1 account on this wallet. Creating another account requires proper security, which you do not need at this point.
And finally, once again, remember: SAVE and NEVER give seed to anyone. This is very important.

How do I fund my wallet with cryptocurrency to purchase an eduworlds card?
At this point, the eduworlds card cannot be bought with traditional currency like PLN or USD. You need a cryptocurrency - in our case ethereum - to redeem it from another user.
We have described in detail two methods of exchanging traditional currency for Ethereum. Choose the one that suits you better.
Option 1: cryptocurrency exchanges.
Exchanges are companies that allow you to buy cryptocurrencies using traditional currencies. They have custody of any ETH you purchase until you send it to a wallet you control.
Examples of exchanges include Coinbase, Binance, KuCoin, Kraken.
To buy Ethereum through an exchange, start by creating an account.
Then you need to go through the account verification process. Usually, the exchange will ask you to send personal information, ID number, and proof of residence (e.g. a scan of correspondence from your bank, bill payments, etc.).
The verification process may take a few days, but is necessary for the currency exchange.
Next, you transfer traditional funds (e.g. USD, PLN) to your account on the exchange, or link them to a payment card.
The last step is to choose the appropriate currency pair (e.g. USD/ETH) and purchase ETH from other users.
If you're doing this for the first time, it's worth watching the tutorials (instructions are often available on the exchange's website).
Once you manage to buy Ethereum on the exchange, you still need to transfer it to your MetaMask wallet. To do this, find the tab responsible for transferring or exporting funds (this option varies depending on the exchange you choose) and transfer ETH to the MetaMask wallet address. Important!
Transferring funds to wallets involves covering additional fees, so always have a little more ETH in reserve than you ultimately plan to spend on NFT purchases.
Option 2: cryptocurrency exchange.
The whole process is simpler, but usually involves buying cryptocurrency at a less favorable price.
Go to an exchange of your choice.
Then specify the amount of ETH you want to buy and paste the address of the wallet where the funds should go. You can find your MetaMask address in the plugin (look at the picture a little above).
Pay the transaction by a traditional method (e.g. online transfer or blik) and you're done!
Important!
Buying NFT involves additional fees (so-called gas fee), so always prepare a little more funds on your wallet than the target price of NFT.
The platform for buying eduworlds
The next step is to go to the platform where you can buy the card.
Currently, eduworlds cards are available on OpenSea - this is a large marketplace with NFT. Here users can sell and buy NFTs from other users or creators.
How to buy NFT on OpenSea?
Step 1: connect your MetaMask wallet to OpenSea.
Step 2: navigate to the collection you are interested in.
NOTE: In the world of NFT there is no shortage of scammers - projects that impersonate the real ones. Sometimes when you type 'eduworlds' into the search engine you will see several different collections.
Only one of them is the real one, on which you can buy a card giving access to our platform. This is very important.
What should you pay attention to in order not to get scammed?
- Always go to the collection from the links provided, for example, on the project page.
- After going to the collection, check the links
- Check activity, prices and total volume (scam projects have close to zero).
- If you have any doubts, ask - e.g., write to us.
Step 3: select the card you want to buy.
Step 4: two options for buying a card.
OpenSea gives you the option to buy the card outright at the price the person selling it offers, or to bid on the card.
Option 1: 'buy now' at the seller's price.
This option is simpler. After funding your MetaMask wallet with the appropriate amount of ETH and connecting to OpenSea, you go to the card and click the 'Buy Now' option. Just like in any online store.
After a few clicks, the card will go straight to your collection. You can find it here:
Option 2: auction.
This involves bidding on the card if you want to try to buy the card for a lower price than the seller's offer. In this situation, click the 'Make offer' option.
You need WETH to bid (more information about WETH here).
Important! The first time you exchange ETH for WETH you will pay the so-called gas fee, which we have already mentioned. After the first exchange you can already do it for free.
Enter your offer and the end time of the offer.
Then, if the seller approves your offer, the card will go to your collection.
And you're done!
Attention.
After the purchase, the card will be visible in your OpenSea account (only after connecting a wallet with NFT on it). At the moment MetaMask does not have the ability to display the NFTs you own, so you can only view them on OpenSea.
